I thought this car marketing concept from Citroen was quite interesting. It's obviously aimed at males (one of the hero images features all males), but makes a vibrant and quite feminine use of purple and deep magenta. I suppose it might be going for the 'space age' or 'regal/royal/rich' angle... to me it seems to be making purple an acceptable car colour to men, fighting against the more popular choices such as black, silver, red etc.
This blog has been formed to aid me as a personal resource of colour and its never-ending uses. Over the past semester I have gathered a large amount of colour related material and explored aspects of colour which I never have before. Here it is documented in a post/diary-like manner. Each post is tagged according to what it is about. These tags form an index by which I can look up a specific aspect of colour when I need to.
