Skin tones... What's normal, what's not? According to the top picture, people mostly picked number 3 as a 'standard' skin tone. Probably to do with the people surveyed's socal and demographic background etc. I think there are two main types. Those who have a pink undertone and those who have a yellow undertone. Generally pink toned skin is caucasian, European etc and yellow undertones come from Africa, Asia etc. There is such a huge spectrum of colours that we come in which I find quite fascinating. There are people who are as white as snow and some people who are as black as charcoal! (This obviously isn't intended in a racist way!!! I think all skin colours are beautiful).
