Pretty name, pretty stone. Lapis Lazuli is the stone of my starsign, Sagittarius. I think it is just the most brilliant blue colour. It looks beautiful both raw and cut, and was associated in the past with Egyptian queen Cleopatra. It is found in Afghanistan. Definitely my favourite shade of blue. So rich and bright in colour.
