Shady Shades

I think generally people give tints a lot more notice than they do shades, so I decided to do a shade experiment. I used watercolours and dropped black ink into one end of the colour and simply watched it spread and soak down into the watercolour... Very theraputic to watch actually! It was interesting to see the way the black slowly dirtied the pristine colour. And though I've used words like that, I think in the end it all looked quite nice!
